Post pregnancy
Talking Therapy
At MyBabyBrain we understand that post pregnancy can look different for everybody. We offer a range of non-judgemental and effective support to lift your mood and improve wellbeing.
At MyBabyBrain offer talking therapy either 1:1 or in a group learning environment.
Talking through difficulties you are experiencing may be helpful. Throughout sessions we may wish to focus on your thinking patterns (Cognitions), how they leave you feeling and what you do about them (Behaviour). We will aim to understand how your mood is impacting on your day to day life & wellbeing. We will then work together to understand how we can make useful changes. Our goal is for you to feel more confident in your ability to manage your mood whilst also being a busy mum.
The 1:1 sessions usually last 50-60 minutes and take place weekly or fortnightly depending on availability, we suggest having at least 6 sessions. To see if you would benefit, we offer a free 15-20 minute telephone chat to briefly discuss your difficulties. Our price per session start from £60.
Our CBT Group consists of four, two hour sessions. We keep these groups to a small number of ladies trying to conceive in order to create a comfortable and supportive environment for all. Each week will have a different focus to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours are impacting on your life and how we can bring about beneficial changes. Our price per person is £200 for the four, two hour sessions.
Our face to face and group sessions will be run within our local area of Leyland, Chorley and South Ribble.
